New LS1 Owners - Newbie Tech - Removing AIR fuse without removing AIR?

Hey guys, so my car threw a P1416 code which indicates that my passanger side AIR valve is kaput (I believe) also, my AIR pump has been making a lot of noise at idle. I'm going to a fireworks show tonight and would prefer not to have my car making a strange noise.

My question is can I yank the fuse for the AIR pump without actually pulling the whole system? (I'll do it soon I just can't today) Will this have any negative effects? I assume this would just shut off the pump and nothing else, but maybe i'm wrong! Will it make my car run any differently? (badly?) I can erase codes as well by the way.

Thanks!

if pulling the fuse you shouldn't have any real problems as far as driving the air is only there for cats at initial start up it'll probably throw another code and your service vehicle light soon will illuminate.
