Generation IV External Engine - square port heads

gmmp single plane intake square port, ported and polished by wegner performance
tsunami cam from Texas speed performance
yella terra 1.7 roller rockers
ls7 lifters



trying to put together my parts list for my engine. need some help on a decision for the heads. Since i am running a square port single plane intake fuel injected. what heads are going to run the best to be in the 600hp range. wanted to run afr heads but cant find any square port. found some from scoggin-dickey their part number is sd5882-1. those sound like the best setup so far. the car will be used for strong fun street performance and want to hall ass on the strip and still want to drive down interstate when needed. if anyone has any info on any other parts needed. let me know. building the bank account up now to pay for the goodies. expecting around 6k right now. hopefully cheaper like everyone else wants.

Have you already bought the parts listed above? I wouldn't but a cam before you have heads...

Does wegner have a square port head? I have some cathedrals from them and love em.

Also, haven't people been shying away from 4" stroke in iron Lq blocks lately due to excessive/premature skirt wear in the short bores?

i have the block, haven't taken out the rods and crank yet. i have the intake and fuel rails. haven't had the money to buy anything else yet. thats why i want to make the shopping list and stick to it. i am still working on the car also, so money is goin all different directions for it right now.
