Default Computer controlling 2 speed fan ?

I am installing a 2 speed T-bird fan on my Ventura and have a question concerning computer control of the relays. I have added the 2 wires from the computer to control the fan operation. My question is:

1. When the HI setting in the computer is reached, will the low setting be open, as to not provide ground for the low relay?

If this is the case, I will not have to run a 3rd relay to control the other 2 relays.

Thanks

No, the low speed fan continues to run once the high speed temperature is reached

I used a Volvo 2 speed realy to control my Taurus fan in my LT1 powered Volvo 244. I use the 2 fan signals to feed the Volvo relay. Works well. Here's a link that show how the relay works. They use a temp switches in the link for control instead of ecu signals but you get the idea.

Ok, thanks. I will have to have the 3rd Aux relay then. I did see the Volvo fan relay, but I decided to go with 2 70A relays just in case it need to replace them they will be readily available. Thanks for the help.
