Default Replacing valve seals, should I upgrade anything else?

I have a stock ls1 out of a 04 GTO in my Chevelle. I have to replace the valve seals. Since I'm already in there, is it worth swapping springs, rockers, etc? I plan on eventually doing a moderate cam.

There's not much else to change there without going further into the engine....you might consider the Comp Cams Trunion Upgrade Kit while you're there. It will be a nice mod for your rockers that you will appreciate more down the road when you're running a more aggressive cam and such!

Just food for thought, you have to remove the valve seals to install hardened spring seats which are needed for dual springs. Just depends on how far down the road your cam install is, and just how wild you're going to get with it.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'm now thinking about moving my cam schedule up a little bit...
