Saturday's practice didn't go so well. I went 6 laps before the motor developed some kind of knocking noise. This track was fair at best. It did have a few fun sections. One of the best drivers in the nation was their, and I wanted him to drive my car. The last time he drove it, was about a year ago. This will let me know how good my car is and me as a driver. I knew it wouldn't be good for me, unless I take this as a learning experience. Off he goes and beats me by .4 with just one lap. I had 6 laps. Plus he's not use to my car. What can I say.

Me. 4th. overall out of 95 cars.

I wish I could run out there with you guys. That is a nice wide open course. All I seem to get are really heavy chicane miata tracks.

I know what you mean. A few months ago I ran on a very small track. If that's what I had to look forward to, I'd quit.

yea I've been to a few autox's with my Bel-Air and its stock suspension, no sway bars, and the track designer's have no vision what so ever and just make a bunch of slaloms. Last time I went to an event was at Columbus, IN at an airbase and I'm glad I brought the daily driver cause it was nothing but slalom's. My stock S10 Xtreme did well for having worn old tires on it and no power lol.
