Default Preparing for a cam swap. Am I missing anything?

I recently got a good deal on the GMPP Hot Cam from a friend that had it on a shelf collecting dust. I am getting things together for it's install and wanted to make sure I have everything needed before getting started. This is a list of what I have and other stuff I will be getting soon. Is there anything that I am missing? This will be on the stock 853 heads.

Parts I have:

GMPP "HOT" Cam - 12480033
Front cover gasket - 12558013
Cank seal - 12561244
Water pump gaskets x2 - 12559271
New crank bolt - 12557840
Valve cover gasket x2 - 12560696
LS6 spring seat x16 - 12565118
LS6 spring lock x16 - doesn't have a part # on them, 10166345 I think?
LS6 spring (Blue) x16 - 12565117

Parts I need to get:

Valve stem seal set (intake) - 12533586
Valve stem seal set (exhaust) - 12457652
Spring retainers x16 - 10166344
LS2 timing chain - 12586482
Ported LS6 oil pump and new o-ring
3 arm pulley puller
Valve spring compressor tool
Flywheel locking tool
KD tools 901 air hold fittings
KD tools 2992 air hold extension hose
5/16" dowels to hold the lifters

Is there anything other than the obvious fluids and sealants that needs to be added to the list? Thanks!

Looks about like my list. I will be getting the hot cam too. Any reason you are getting the ls6 spring seats, locks, and retainers? You can just reuse the stockers as far as I know. That would save you some money there

Since you are already in there, I would check out a COMP Trunion upgrade for $130, cheap insurance. Everything else looks solid for the most part. With the exception of the tune...which I'm sure you already know.

The LS6 springs, seats and locks all came with the cam that I picked up from a friend. I am picking up the retainers to complete the package. If I am going to swap everything else might as well do the retainers while I am in there. My stock LS1 valve train has over 133K miles on it and I would just feel better making the swap. It's piece of mind.

It is my understanding that with a cam of such a mild nature that the stock rods are adequate.

Chances are, at 133k miles, you already have a bent PR and just haven't discovered it.

Wouldn't there be some noticeable noise coming from the valve train if one was bent? I can't deny the wisdom and piece of mind that would come from replacing them, I was trying to do the swap on the cheap WS6store has a set of stock sized Manley chromemoly rods for $100 right now so I guess that I'll add that to my list.
