I just bought new led turn signals for the front. They with with hazards but not by themselves. I know i need a new one but i am confused as to which one to get. And also i have no idea how or where to install it. Nobody has really clearly explained that. Please help.

If you have no plans to replace the rear bulbs with LEDs then the EL-12 electronic flasher will work. It will compensate for the reduced current of a couple of LED bulbs in the front but it would not handle a complete LED conversion. For that you would need a special LED compatible flasher or a set of load balancing resistors.

The turn signal flasher is clipped behind the dash panel just to the right of the opening when you remove the knee panel under the steering column (above the OBD II port). Turn on a turn signal and follow the clicking noise to find it.

What happens? Does it not flash at all or does it flash too fast? Do the lights come on? Do your DRLs work?

The turn signal bulbs come on for drls but not the tiny 194 bulbs. And they still do not flash, but they work with hazards still. And both the turn signal bulbs and 194 bulbs come on when i lock or unlock with the key fob

are your LEDs DRL compatible?

I'm not exactly sure if they are. I know it's a 3157 bulb and that is the turn signal bulb correct?

The 194 bulbs have nothing to do with turn signals or DRLs - they are parking light only.

The 3157 bulbs are dual "filament". They have a bright circuit for turn signals and DRLs and a dim circuit for parking lights. The two circuits are independent.

First try putting the original bulbs back and see if the signals work. That will tell you if the only problem is the new LEDs bulbs.

Also, DRL compatibility is a valid question. You should check that the bulbs you bought are DRL compatible (the ones sold by v-leds.com are not). While you're checking, make sure you didn't get 3156 bulbs by mistake (3156 is the single filament version of the 3157 bulb).

okay. well what about the 3157 leds from superbrightleds? are those drl compatible? im not really sure haha. and also i read on another post that somebody plugged in two flashers to the stock harness? is there more than one flasher? because i only found one. and what do i need to do differently if i want to do a full led conversion? because i plan on doing one if i get this issue fixed.
