LS Engine?: Car has LS engine

Hey guys so I am in the market for a gto and found one near me. They are asking 14k, it has some minor issues like paint chips on the door handles, someone installed an aftermarket radio and and did not get the steering wheel controls hooked up so they currently do not work, and finally the plastic parts that cover that goes over the bolts for the seats are missing. Other than that it runs and drives great, not issues with the leather. I was not able to find any indications of strut rub. Is this a good price. I really appreciate your time and input. Thank you guys!

And the haggling continues

You can get a 2005 LS2 car in the 14-16k range with those miles or less buddy. I'd stay away from the 04's, they don't tend to hold value at all and that sounds like a 11k car to me realistically. Especially in such a common color

+1 I've personally seen these superior Ls2 cars lose to a very similarly modded Ls1 car.

OP, it's your call. Sounds like a fine deal, but I've seen better. However, I did not drive those cars and you've already checked this one out with no real problems. That counts for something. Hell, for a little bit more money you could buy clonedws6's car. It's got quite a few mods already and appears to be a very well cared for car.

FYI, You'd get more help if you put this in the GTO specific section. Maybe a mod will move it if you ask.

How many miles on this one?

I love gtos in general and you cant really go wrong. A long as the maintenance has been kept up they are great. If you're looking for a modded one you can check mine out. If you're looking for a milder built one good luck! You will love it!
