Lately Ive been having a issue with starting. Turns over great and on first key turn I can go for 5-8 seconds and no start. Second turn it tries to start and then third key turn it starts right up. Usually happens if the car has not been running for about 20 minutes...ie If I run into a store and come back out within 20 min it will start right up on first try.

Also if I try to get on it at all the gas pedal will literally knock my foot back off the pedal and then bogs for a second and then I can give it gas again. Please tell me this isnt a fuel pump. I really dont feel like cutting holes in my car just yet lol.

Thanks in advance

After doing some reading...can my second issue just be my TCS doing its Job??

Starting issue sounds fuel related. Put a pressure gauge on there and see what it is.

Before answering the second question, let me ask you this: Do you have traction control? You can tell by a big black box over the driver side valve cover, or RPO code NW9.

Yes I do have traction control. I wondered what that black box was....

I will have to find a fuel pressure gauge and give that a look.

Any other info would be great

The bogging and pedal kicking back at you is normal for traction control when it senses loss of traction.
