Do it. But it has to be done right. Look in the Texas section about the Trans Am widebody. Everyone use to hate his idea but after the end result everyone was kissing his ass. I say good luck and go for it. Keep the stocks just in case you regret it.

I think im am going to do it! Im taking it to West Coast Customs therevgoing to help me with some ideas as well! I love the regular pop ups but someone hit me on my driver side so its cheaper to customize believe it or not!

I wouldn't do those headlights personally, just look on ebay or here to find stock replacements.

If done right, I think it could look good and mean. Never hurts to try something new and different, and if it turns out to be horrible, you can always change it back. And like 99bluehawk said, there have been plenty of times where everyone says something looks like crap, but when they see the final product they are all swarming over it. Kind of like when a new car comes to market.

The flip up head lights is one of the things that I really enjoy about the car. I dont see why people always try and change them. I can understand trying to be different but leave the lights alone lol

I was only fantasizing when I saw a 5th gen camaro with red halos and wanted my own. I started building because I didn't just want the ebay halos. After going through 3 sets of headlights I finally came up with the end result in my sig. I get compliments all the time, and probably once every 2 weeks I get someone asking if I'll make them a set.

I say go for it. Be unique. Hell, even if you don't like them in the end, someone may, and you could sell them.

One of those things that's ugly in photoshop, but could probably get pulled off, with the right artist.

Im working on a fixed headlight conversion now...that idea looks like it would save a lot of time and $$ since it has no lens
