Default Cam only LS1 Camaro VS 03' Pullied Mustang Cobra *VIDEO INSIDE*

Well i thought this would be worthy of posting.
Me and a friend raced lastnight since we all got the day off today.

03' Cobra: Full exhaust, pullied (9-10 lbs of boost)
98' Camaro: LS6 intake, LT's, True duals, Cam only, 4.10s

20 mph roll: we both spun quite a bit and both ran door to door until i hit 5th and the cobra got me by a fender before we shut down.

FYI, 9-10psi on the eaton m112 is barely higher than stock boost levels. My cobra produced ~14psi with an upper pulley only. From what I remember, stock eatons with the stock pulley only generated 8psi.

Good race regardless.

Nice that was close! 5th gear is not the strong point for T56's in F-Body's though...

My guess, which may be a stretch but long tubes take 1-2psi away, and they are in Colorado which means higher altitude which also lowers boost.

That was a good race and it had to be fun running door to door like that. Nice running Camaro. What part of Colorado are you from?

how do you like the 410s? I have the same cam, is highway mileage still comparable to the factory gears?

The fact they were running in Colorado makes it even more impressive. that cobra has a big advantage in that high elevation over the OP's NA setup.
