Default stock COP or Kurt Urban LS distributor for my setup..

I have the stock pcm and coils as of now it runs i didnt drive it yet i only had it tuned. Billy is pushin me towards a BS3 to tune the motor to its full potential. I havent made a pass on it yet but before i do i was thinkin about maybe getting the kurt urban distributor setup. going to be shifting somewhere around 8000-8100 and probably going to get a bs3. will switching to the distributor make a difference?

solid roller
14:1 compression
motor is built the right way

I don't know all the specs of your engine, except what you have listed, but if Billy Briggs is suggesting it then you probably should get it.

doesnt the block have to be torn down and machined to fit a jesel belt drive?

There have been quite a few people that do quite well with the COP stuff. Eventually they get to the point where they need a dizzy setup. Both Mark Koehler and Mark Carlyle switched to a dizzy setup after last season due to spark issues. Not sure at what power level it makes sense, but most of the guys are turning a lot of RPM.
