Everyone on eBay wants an arm and a leg if I'm paying 750 shipped I might as well get kooks ... And if it's a good deal is back ordered

I wouldn't say that. Obx = Stainless. Pacesetters = Rust magnets unless u spend more money and have them coated with a quality coating.

I've run pacesetters in the past and they are good for the money but I wouldn't say obx is china garbage. They are a 100% replica of kooks headers and sell for half the price. They look just as nice IMO. Had kooks on my old V. OBX on this one. Can't tell the difference except for in my wallet.

It depends on how many miles you have on them

agreed... paid 243 shipped for my pacesetter, then wrapped them to reduce temps

Have there been any problems with the OBX headers cracking? I had a set on my old car and they cracked around every runner at the head flange....

I know Lashway Motorsports carries the OBX headers. Give Josh or Erik a call over there and they should be able to help you out.

So is there indeed an issue with the OBX headers cracking? First time I've heard of that.

If it were an issue I think it would be more widespread on the forums. I've known of OBX headers for years and never heard a problem out of them aside from the necessary dent for our steering columns. This sounds like it could be an isolated incident.

Use to be a big issue in the import scene, since 99% of import owners are cheapa$$s. This meant a lot of people were running OBX and other Chinese replica parts. I personally had my OBX header crack around all the runners. The flanges were mild steel and runners were stainless. Very thin stainless at that... I've seen a few ramhorn style turbo manifolds crack while driving and drop the turbo from the motor lol :judge: They required additional bracing to stay together... This was a few years ago so I don't know if they sell higher quality products now

I would assume the quality has been improved since then. I know people running OBX on a few different types of vehicles with no issues, no rusting, etc. Good quality headers for the price IMO.

do not use erz. Not that I had a bad deal with them, but I ordered a set of catless OBX headers from them on March 23 and they were on back order. They said 3 months ok, worth the wait. 3 months goes by they say they are still on back order when OBX catless systems start showing up on ebay. I call them, they say they are still on back order still so I ask for a refund and they did. Sucks they couldnt come through I spent another 100$ than what they wanted on ebay for the same set.
