So I just scored a screaming deal on a performabuilt 2800 stall for my 2006 GTO. My car is a DD, so I figured a 2800 would be perfect for daily driving while giving me a slight performance bump. It also expands some of my cam options (I was originally going to go w/ a cam spec'd for a stock stall).

My question is for the guys with stalls of about 3000 and lower, what size cam are you running, and how do you like it? Post up supporting mods, cam size, stall size, stock or aftermarket gears, and the kind of power you laid down.

Thanks

When I was running a stock cam I ran a 3,200rpm converter.

Up to 224-228 range you won't have much trouble as long as you keep the LSA at 114 or more.

With that convertor, we'd recommend no more duration than about 228º on the intake side, of course depending on the rest of the combo.
