Default What will my compression be??

Anyone can give me a idea of what the CR will be. 2001 LQ4.stock stroke, stock bore 4.00, LS9 HG, stock 862/ 5.3 heads Flat tops. If install the flat top LQ9 pistons what will CR be? Im thinking if I go with the dish LQ4 pistons it will be the stock 9.4. Thanks.

With the LQ4 stock bottom end (dished pistons) and that top end, you'll net about 10.5:1 static compression ratio. With the LQ9 flat-top pistons in there, it'd be about 11.3:1 or so.

Wow, with stock dish pistons it will be10.5? Those 862 5.3 heads must have a small cc chamber! Matt tell me the rod&piston combo that will live at 14psi? Will the stock rods live? Im on a really tight budget, but I dont want to go back with stock rods&pistons unless they can take 14psi. I cant seem to get the pistons to match the rods when I look. I see (Texas-Speed) has some Scat rods for aprox $309, but cant find a dish piston with the right pin size, help me out here.
