not sure if theres a thread like this if so sorry.

name ur car year and miles it has.
things you have replaced so far.what mods you have ,and what are your 1/4 mile times with your current miles.

mine 99 z28 cammed 102k miles runing great
and my bone stock 99 ls1 a4 .236k highwayway miles.no problems whatsoever (yet,knocking on wood).
these motors are really good and strong thats what i realized with my 2 cars .my 236k ls1 is not underpowerd have raced other low milage stock ls1's and beat them ! and of course mustangs.thats why i know its not underpowered due to the miles

I have 108k on mine and ill be doing heads+cam+intake next week.

I've seen a few folks with numbers over 300k on F-bodies. A lot of guys with big numbers on the LSx truck engines (LQ4/LQ9).

It seems pretty much everything else on these cars will break before the engine. The failures I have heard of are usually not catastrophic either.

damn ,some high numbers in miles..on my high milage ls1 i want to do a cam swap but im afraid it will just break faster...lolbut its true it appers other things in the car go out before the motor does

I have 18,000 miles on my 98 ss camaro h/c/stroked 12 bolt stange. 10 in the 1/4 mile.

2002 SS 6spd. Bought in Feb with 46,7xx. Currently has 50,1xx. No quarter mile times and only mod is exhaust.

9x,xxx on body... 0 on motor :)

2001 SS 26,500 miles

2001 SS 59,800 miles.

'99 Z28 with 104,000. Full-exhaust, BBK intake and TB, 4.10 gears, high flow air lid, PCM for Less tune.

108k bolt on

02 57K miles
h/c/forged internals
turbo install taking place

111k on the dd ss and 34k on body 6k on engine in the toy ss

117k miles. Bolt on. Rebuilt rear end and transmission is on it's way out. Gotta hand it to the LS1.
