Nope, no rats. Super clean garage. Not even spiders. I was very surprised when I seen the bushing. The metal center where the bolt goes through was just bouncing around. I would advise others to check their bushings.

That's exactly what my buddy's CS diff bushing did.

I've had a CS busing in mine for about a year. How long does this typically take?

Does CS not replace these when they fail, they seem to stand behind their other products in these sort of situations?

they will replace it. that is why i never posted anything negative about it. I still have it, not installed of course. took about a year before it happened.

The diff bushing in the picture is a "first gen" bushing with the grey urethane, which was too soft of a material. If you are reading this and have one of our rear diff bushings, check the bushing the next time under the car, if its black and came WITHOUT the red lines that are on our newest style of bushings you have the second gen of bushing which we have had very few go bad. If you have one of the newest style of bushings WITH the red lines, don't give your bushing a second thought......we've never warrantied one of them.

I have the latest diff bushing then, and also just checked it. Looks as good as when I first installed it. Thanks CS!

Can you feel much back lash in the assembly? What issue caused the dealer to replace the previous unit in you car.

Thanks
Glenn

CS is Great. I still have the very first set of motor mounts Max made in my V.

Nobody else can say that. Maybe one other tester.

As with any great company, they improve on the product.

Again, why i never posted negative information on a piece that he has already improved.

The diff was replaced under warranty by the previous owner. I verified this by checking the service record. I got the car at 65k. \

Good to meet you too. Nice to have a fellow owner so close. Nice clean transaction. Hopefully I can get it installed soon. I have a track day at Gratton the end of the month, so I will wait until after that is done.
