...turn on the second pump? RPM / Window switch? TPS and RPM?
Considering a "pill" style but have been reading up on the programmable ones. Experience, part numbers are much appreciated!

The ideal setup is an RPM switch in conjunction with a WOT switch.
The idea is to bring the pump on under high demand.
WOT just off idle can create a fuel pressure spike & RPM base can bring the pump on at light throttle just cruising away from a stop light.
Running the 2 switches in parallel means you only get the second pump activation when you are wide oped & above a certain RPM.
As for RPM switches, you need to use one specifically for LS applications. The standard switches will not correspond to the correct RPM.

Makes sense Lonnie thanks! Now if I wasn't electrically challenged :(

I know this is an old thread but ran across this and wanted to correct it. The above statement is incorrect and would make the two switches OR gates...which means either the rpm switch OR the WOT switch can cut the fuel pump on.
The switches need to be wired in series in order to operate the way Lonnies was describing. This would make the switches AND gates...which means the rpm AND the WOT switch would need to be activated in order to cut the second pump on.

Yup... typo on my part. My brain & fingers were not on the same page.
Should be a series connection.
Surprised no one caught it in the last 8 months....

Yes I was surprised myself... I wasn't doubting that you know what your talking about I was about 103% sure it was a typo. We all do it and just wanted to break it down for electrically challenged ppl to understand in the future
