Default Got booted

I raced and got booted off the track for spinning the rubber of the track. I stripped it down to the asphalt. How do I stop this? I have ET streets on the car.

I put 3 30 foot strips down the track, 2.3 60 foot was the best I could do. It was 97 today

Yea same here that's why don't think its his tires and yea I would be pissed. I would tell the owner to invest money back into his track instead of kicking people out that pay his bills.

I have seen that happen with street tires, but not ET's.

The track must have been prepped wrong as there is no way you should be getting 2.3 60fts with those tires unless you got them aired 30psi+

I have worked the starting line at my local track and have drag raced over 20 years. We booted racers for doing this after multiple warnings. Usually it was regular street tired cars that melted the hell out of the tires for ***** and giggles. If you were spinning like hell, I could see the rubber coming up some but not to the asphalt. Guess you know where the track stands now. Chuck

I didnt even notice it was ETstreets, Like the bias ply DOT slicks? I didn't think they would be that? But redials will you you spin them bad, it messes up the track. Street cars get bald spots form doing that.

Think after the second time you may have tried something different. I would've booted you too....stated you were straight out warned about it.

It acted like I got traction on the rubber but pulled it off the track, you could hear and feel it. It was weird.

Broke differential maybe? Did it tear up the rubber on both sides or just one? With a 2.3 60ft, I cant see how it could feel like it hooked. Et street radials or bias?
