I am looking into building a notchback, but use a 5.3 turbo as my power source. I want to go to the track and first pass be a 9.9999999. Do you think this turbo would get me there on pump gas = S480 1.10 a/r 83mm Exh wheel

Should do it easy with right cam, and converter. The S475, or 476 with the 83mm exh would be plenty and spool a little quicker.

I'm doing the same build also but running Meth, tu1 cam and Victor jr Would I be able to run 9s with the s475 but I don't want to run more then 15psi

I would like to run the 480 on a 1.10 w/ 87mm exh wheel, but not sure if it's worth the extra $300 or not.

The 87 turbine wheel depending on backpressure can be worth up to around 75-100hp. On a 347ci LS1 based setup we worked on with a customer, his backpressure was pretty high, swapping to the 87mm turbine gained 72rwhp...nothing else changed.

were doing a similar setup on a stock bottom 5.3 with a t6 1.10 ar s480 shooting for 8.xx
