General Maintenance & Repairs - window sweep install

how the hell do you get a new window sweep in? it seems like with the window half up and the door panel/mirror off there is the most room to work, but not enough

i need some tips, this shit is frustrating

well i sort of got it in today, the front half by the mirror is all good but the back half still pops up a bit everytime i shut the door. im really sick of taking off my door panel, i might just get some liquid nails or something and glue it down to the door...

I can't remember exactly with that door, but some need to seat the back end first and then the front half to lock in place correctly. Why did you need to replace it though?

i bought the car with the old one popped up due to rusted and broken clips
