While cruising around in shit hole(Yuma), Azrizona my car started to act all weird. When I would stomp on the gas, it would go but it would hesitate. For example, RPM's would be at 3000 but will drop n seem like its struggling. A buddy of mine said it could be the fuel filter, so I changed it out & still got the problem. Help me out fellas I need the help!

Maybe your O2 sensors

O2 sensors??? I was thinking it could be the spark plugs or something related to that. One guy said it could be the fuel pump/sending unit.

If this is happening, your "check engine" light should be on, look up the code with a scanner.

Worst thing you can do is throw parts to it and "think" that the problem. Get it checked and diagnosed properly by someone who actually knows how to work a scanner. It can be a number of things that can make this happen, that's my .02

Check engine lights don't always come on for every problem. :/

check your air filter... lots of sand in AZ and try some seafoam in your vacuum main hose of brake booster too won't hurt

No but if it's dropping RPMS and hesitating it should throw a code.
Also check all vacum hoses and even your MAF make sure there is nothing blocking the air coming in, I don't see how that would happen but better to be safe than sorry. Check PCV and all lines going into the intake. Any mods to the car?

You would think so. Ive had plenty of cars give me problems without a single pending or any type of code.

As stated earlier, check or replace all PCV and vacuum lines from valve covers, valley cover, TB, and intake manifold. Unfiltered, unmetered air can cause what you're describing, and it's easy to check and fix yourself.
