Bassani header install
just got through installing these today along with the matching y-pipe with cats. took about 4.5 hours. R&D for Bassani and www.vincihighperformance.com (new sponsor here on the board). might get it on the dyno tomorrow to get the results. then out to OSW for 1/4 mile times.

Those should make good low end torque. I think they would perform well with a 220 or less cam with medium lift. I'm curious as to the results also.

did some dynoing of the headers. the stock manifolds are pretty good. but they did notice about 5" of vacuum on the TECH II scanner. so they added the air lid and polyfoam filter. then the MAF housing ends.
Bassani headers and y-pipe with cats

added the VHP air lid and polyfoam filter ( vacuum dropped to 1")

Added the MAF housing ( O2 reading went from 990s to 890s)

grand total for all parts added vs stock w/ borla

Thanks alot, I appreciate it!

So it looks like from the dyno59.jpg that peak torque
dropped 20 lb-ft but peak HP went up? I bet there
is more to be had with tuning. Strange that torque
dropped against stock manifolds & piping, I expect
that tuning it better in the midband might give it
back (probably backpressure mixture / VE effects
on torque from the better tubes, cats, Y?). I
wouldn't leave those MAF ends on an automatic
without fixing the MAF table.
