Default car running lean idle and WOT..

so i intalled my turbo 4 years ago. had it tuned and have had no problems with it until about a week ago. i have an AEM wideband. at idle it use to sit about 14.5 and at WOT it would go to about 10.8... its been like that for about four years.. i had my exhaust welded up about a week ago and then i noticed a few days later that when i first start it its suck full lean on the wideband so far lean it doesnt read.. then when i full throttle it, it will start to go rich then go lean right past what the gauge reads.. i checked for vaccum leaks and changed my fuel filter, no differance.... any ideas??? do you think welding the exhaust screwed up the sensor?!?! the sensor for the wideband is in the down pipe btw..
