I have much better videos but I think they are in HD 1080p (just bought the camera today) so maybe you guys can steer me in the right direction there. I have them on my laptop but even the laptop doesn't play sound. Suggestions?

awesome video car looks great, what format are the newer videos with your camera in sometimes computer need certain codecs to play a file, don't really think thats the problem though
