Not me!! :D
Especially since I just saw 2 collector edition Trans Ams sell for less than 1/2 what the original sticker price was.
One was a convertable that listed for $40,300 sell for $18,500. :jest:

So go drag racing with a clear head-don't look back. :drive:

No regrets, I purchased mine new and I'm constantly ridiculed for cutting up a low miles (40K) SS.

I don't regret doing what I did to it, just that I ate the new sticker price vs buying one used for 5 to 10 grand less.

My thoughts exactly!

At 200 miles my Hot Rod went to Madman for his TQ arm, shocks, headers etc....

10 years later, She has 16,009 miles on her & 5,000 (give or take) laps down the track.;)

Only thing I regret is selling some if my original parts like the Hawk wheels...to fund other go fast parts.

I parted mine out w 16k miles just last year. $$ per mile-worst investment I ever made-most fun too :D
Definately would do it all over again.

Ive been trying to decide if I should cut my SS roller into a race car for months. You guys make it sound easy LOL

I think it makes a cool race car if its an origional SS or Trans Am.

Not one regret here! Mine wasn't as low miles as some when I got it, but it's fairly rare. Hugger Orange SS, hard top, manual windows and locks, no cruise, and 6 speed. All that means to me is it's better for drag racing!

And Ted's has less than 5,000 miles and is a CETA!!!

Paul's is a 98 WS6 Formula Trans Am. Rarer than a unicorn.:jest:

My car is completely dd-able. Just a lighter more powerful version of what it was. I still have all my oe parts if I would ever want to put it back to original. Car has 113k on it.

The only regret I have had so far racing it was hitting the wall, but then again I could have been in an accident on the street just as easily.

Bought my ss new, ran it at the track the following week and started modding it. It just turned 19000 miles and I've got no regrets. I was originally going to keep everything I removed, but that took over the garage too soon, so I sold it all. The wife thinks I ruined it though.:D

Bought my 01 WS.6 in March of 01, the following June I raced it for the first time...and I proceeded to DD it 260 miles a day and race the piss out of it until 08 when I sold it as a roller. Shortly after that I picked up another F-bod with 99K and raced the piss out of it, lol.

I took my car to bob at EPP at the time now brute speed before I even took my car home.

I bought my car for 4,500 in 2004 from a guy that had a check engine light on, and the rear end was making some horrible sounds. So bob put in a 12 bolt and checked the codes- cataylitic converter- so I put in longtubes, y-pipe, and catback. Got the car back and never looked back.

I can sell my car now and still make money or break even- even with all of the mods I have put on it.

A black WS.6 is my dream car from my childhood, and my wife even said I can't get rid of it. haha

Don't have 6000 on my Formula yet, sure the hell wouldn't have gotten into GMHT stock! Kind of funny, bought the car originally for my girl friend now wife. We had a deal, if she helped pay for it she could drive it....she never paid and never got driven....tee hee...put a blower on it before she decided to come up with the funds.

I ordered mine and it took 4 months to get it , and while i was waiting on it i was buying up parts and i had to drive three hours away to pick it up and on the way home i had the exhaust cut off and replaced with a aftermarket one. But now i have completely redone it for street & strip . And love every bit of it.

None here. I ordered mine in August of 01 and got it Sept 27. Had a room full of parts ready to go. Car has been the official test bed for my shop and tuning business. I owe alot to it! It has been a damn trooper! :D Car is still stupid clean, 27K on it, and a enjoy pushing the mods even further.
