Default Getting a strange "dieseling" effect when I shut off my car.

Stock computer, stock coils, br7ef plugs, front mount turbo, ect

When I go to shut it off(just idling) it has a small sputter and halfway runs for a second when I shut the key off.

Didn't do it n/a, all the same electronics, car is untuned but I don't think that would make a difference, it should kill it w the switch no matter what. Seems like maybe an electrical issue bc the gauges kinda bounce when I shut it off. Like when the battery goes low

is it runnng rich? , do you have a wide band ? it could be getting hot spots in the head, then when you shut it off the vapors from the fuel could be igniting ?

I don't think it's rich, wide band is in it but haven't put the bung or sensor in. I thought about the same thing, but I don't see how it has hot spots when the motor is at like 120* and it's just idling. Atleast I hope it wouldn't lol. I checked all the injector plugs and coils, everything seams fine.

Possibly be the crank or cam sensor? Both worked when I pulled em out of the old motor.

Could it have anything to do w the pushrod length??

Just tryin to spark somethin up here

I checked it w a pushrod length tool, and it came to 7.400" I think so atleast, I did read somewhere that a vacuum leak will possibly do it??

try unhooking the alternator power wire that goes to the battery and the single wire, the alternator could be back charging the car. just throwing it out there

Electric fans? Depending on the fan and how its wired I have seen them backfeed while spinning down. I know you said everything is the same. Its just a thought. When you say kill switch do you mean a battery disconnect?

It has electric fans, they're wired thru the factory harness, so I figured that'd be fine. Although, they are push/pull, so they might have the effect on it. I will have to check, but I'm pretty sure it does it even when the fans are off.

Although it could be doing it bc of the trans cooler fan too.

Basically yes, when you turn ignition off the lil wire that plugs into side of the alternator kills the diods which turns the magnets of inside, which should kill any power trying to be put out by the alt.
My dad had a old truck that use to diesel forever, like to the point we had to pull the coil wire to kill the truck.

So the problem lies somewhere else if this Is the case, bc that wire should quit when the key is switched off. so might be the fans or the trans fan, I will have to unhook one at a time and see what it does
