6l80e remote transmission filter & pan
hi
i have a 6l80e in my cadillac. as some of you may know, this trans is quite big. the transmission pan sits about an inch and half below frame rails. i have the commodore/g8 pan, which is the shallowest available. does anyone make a remote filter setup for the 6l80e. i have read the posts and there are quite a few people who have a similar problem with the 6l80e trasnmission size. i am not willing to cut the floor.

Add a body lift! haha
I wouldn't be worried about an inch and half. Obliviously, if your not willing to cut the floors your pretty observant to driving conditions as well, and you can avoid situations were fowling out the pan on a speed bump or curb can be avoided. I wouldn't worry about it.

6l80e in a cadillac
See if this old thread has any help for you, https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...o-does-go.html
i have read that link before and been in contact with the author of the story. he is in australia too.
so, i am still searching for some one who can do a super slim line 6l80e trasnmission pan. i guess what i want is a bit like a dry sump engine, but on the transmission pan.
