Notice the drag sway bar has offsets to clear the shocks like the BMR’s and UMI’s. I was planning on the “straight” style Spohn drag bar which others have been able to fit to the “stock” sway bar mounts. With this “new” style, I ended up having to cut off the “stock” sway bar mounts and used the Spohn mounts. There is plenty of clearance from the shocks though. If you plan to run a drag sway bar, remember to order a rear without the “stock” sway bar mounts as I did not.

After the Strange recommended ring and pinion break-in, I realized I would hate the rod-ended suspension in a predominantly street driven car. The rod-ended components have made the rear end sound like it is ready to literally fall out. If this was predominantly a street car, I would not be running rod ends. At slow speed turns, the spool actually accentuates the noise of the rod-ended components. Since this is predominantly a drag car, I look forward to “no binding performance” of the rod-ended components.

Well santa came early today, i got everything and its looking good already, i transfered almost everything over to the s60 and i just have a few hold ups from putting it in, but here are some pictures so far...

A few question tho...

Sway bar brackets that mount to the axle, do i have to buy these?

Do i need to use posi lube for the break in period?

should i just use the upper LCA hole for a stock application?

Looks good!!

I just used a bolt and locking nuts for the sway bar...(bolted it to the brackets welded on the axle tubes)

Not sure on the slip additive...i have a spool still breaking the gears....I'd call strange and see....

I would just make sure your lca's are pointed down towards the rear of the car
Mines is on the bottom hole

If You have an aftermarket sway bar You will need that brand of mounting brackets to attach to the S60.

Do not use any additives or synthetic lube.

Yes.

As far as your questions ....

Your S60 should have come with mounting hardware for an f-body which included brackets, end links and poly bushings to re-use your stock sway bar.

Use the lube that came with the S60 ... it is obviously what Strange Engineering recommends.

Whichever hole aligns your LCA's parrallel with the ground.
