So Vararam has come out with this "New Product " called a "super wedge" and has had the camaro5 members all excited for this release. Now don't get me wrong Vararam does make a nice CAI for vettes, camaro's and GTO's. But this? Really? I just has to share lol
http://www.vararam.com/power-wedge.html
Here is the thread and the guy that has been "testing" and "thoroughly" reviewing it. Notice his methods lol enjoy the read lmao

Yep, that's the way they are over there.....it's the same thing anytime a new car comes out, people with some money but no real technical knowledge buy it and bolt on some crap and think they are experts.
Don't get me wrong, there are some people over there that know what's going on but there are also a lot of lemmings.
You can use it as an opportunity to teach the newbs, which they will push back on you if you don't have a website they can buy crap from, or you can just laugh at them from other websites.

When you are at WOT, the ECM says the throttle is at 88%. I'll bet $20 that this "spacer" will correct it so that it reads 100% at WOT.
And thats from a moderator over there. LMMFAO. C5 is half of what made me sell my 2010.
Edit...hes a cop, go figure.

The craziest part is it costs 117.00 + ~15.00 shipping lmao
This is how he tested on post 210
No, it's not a V6. I traded my 1LT/RS in for my L99 SS last fall.
As I have mentioned before, I have been doing my comparisons using the same on-ramps each time. I have exact points on each road at which I do each step and know at which speed I should be at when hitting certain landmarks. No offense, but I was very upfront about not doing dyno runs or track runs, only street driven real world testing.
As a side note, I've been a certified software test engineer for nearly 14 years. Testing protocol and repeatable test steps drive what I do every day at work, so I think I am slightly qualified to do comparable, repeatable test drives with various setups on my car. Repeatable testing can be done using multiple ways of measuring the results, some people prefer a dyno, some prefer track times/trap speeds, I prefer to measure speed at known points on a road.
Feel free to still question my ability to provide feedback, as I certainly know it's hard to trust someone you've never met. :respekt: As I said, I want to see these in the hands of early adopters also, so they can provide additional feedback to the C5 community. If you're bored, you can read up on the testing I did for Vararam on the V6 intake and then look at how many people bought them and said..."Damn, you were right, this is great!".

I read 7 pages of that shit before I decided that I had had enough. They have too much money to spend over there, but they don't spend it in the right place.

IMHO most people become LEO's because they lack a marketable skill. Again, most not all.
EDIT: before the "you're a stupid cop basher" stuff begins, Ive worked with and around law enforcement for 12 years.

I am glad you qualified that as your opinion... Since I have a degree, 10 years in the military, and have been a police officer for the last 11 years. A willingness to put it all on the line for someone you don't know is a marketable skill. Besides my career field is no indication of the amount of mechanical or any other knowledge I may (or even may not) possess.
BTW, if you think Law Enforcement is the last refuge for those without a degree or "marketable skills" why not apply and see if you can get hired as a LEO?

Im a LEO from Chicago (murder capital soon to be lol) for 15 years now, but one thing I'd never do is make a SIG PIC and be in uniform (if that's him) with my weapon drawn and using my car for cover! That is some gay shit right there lmao!!!
Azreal glad to know your on the job and be safe brotha!

I was an mp in the marines for 12 years. Working with virgina state troopers and prince william county sheriffs and watching them lie and tell dumb ass stories has swayed me from ever wanting to be a civilian LEO. Plus I see how many absolute fucking moron military members become cops. The 90% give the remaining 10% a bad name.
