Default Zex 100 shot

Just ordered ZEX power tune spark plugs, purge kit, bottle warmer and pressure regulator. Anyone else have any input as what to also order to run a 100 shot as safe as possible? I know the timing needs to be retarded, but anything else?

Yea on the WOT switch, and no compression test done, yet, I have never had problems with the fuel pump. I'm starting at a 50 shot and working my way up. Having a well known mustang shop tune my car with spray, they did my buddies LS1 camaro with a 125 shot on street tires ran 12.80s.

Get the fuel pump there, do not try it with a weak or flaky pump.

How many miles are on your car? Your trap speed seems unusually low....stock is about 100mph, maybe a tuneup will help out or do the compression test as mentioned make sure it's in good shape.

IMO You wasted money on the zex plugs. pulling timing on 100 isn't absolutely nessisary unless it's already jacked up, use only premium fuel, Spend money on at least a FP hotwire kit and a wideband . ngk tr6's @ .035 would be fine
You'll hardly notice a 50shot Dont waste your time on it Start with 100 pull timing above that and replace the pump with a racetronix kit. Don't get greedy 150shot is gonna be the limit .

You need a window switch. msd makes one that i have used many times and not had any troubles with it.

I would go with TR6's...

a fuel pressure safety switch would be a good interest also.

What do you mean by a "fp Hotwire kit"? Please don't flame I trying to get everything right the first time. Also any suggestions on a good digital wideband?

Fuel pump hotwire kit.... It is a kit that takes a larger gauge wire to the fuel pump. The stock gauge wire on these cars are too small, and will cause a drop in voltage to the pump itself; thus causing the pump to lose it ability to pump enough fuel.

What hotwire kit would work with the racetronix 255 LPH fuel pump?

racetronix makes a nice Hotwire kit themselves... or you could just make one yourself.

Now that I am waiting on delivery of the Racetronix Fuel Pump and hotwire assembly, I am curious if injectors would be a good idea to replace as well....any imput would be greatly appreciated!

No you don't need injectors to run nitrous on your stock cubes,Would do more harm than good. do you do any reading/searching at all? I suppose your next question will be "how do I change my pump out" search (fuel pump trap door) or buy a Haynes manual and follow instructions. Fwiw There is also a nitrous related forum and a FAQ thread to do some searching in that may answer your soon to follow questions. Buy a wideband. Thats my "iMput"? http://m.summitracing.com/parts/avm-30-4100
The end.
