Here you go, bone stock 2013 GT500, no games, no tricks, just real life dyno numbers, before and after tuning.
+43 rwhp gains from the tune :)
enjoy, discuss, hate....etc :)

They got alot of power out of the box that's for sure. 43 horses more is great, how much more do you think you can get out of it with methanol?

IMO meth just complicates things, its all good for a max effort street car with no good fuels available, but not the best option to me..
Besides, we get E85 down here, so if it is going to switch fuels, it will likely be to E85, which I'd guess could be worth another 20 rwhp or more.
Thanks

If they are anything like they were when the 03's came out - It's GONE.
That being said - the smart money is on purchasing a new ECU and tuning it - and leaving the stock one untouched. Even then - EXPECT SVT to come onsite to inspect any 'blown motor' claims.

Is this still about 14psi? I was told that just switching to E85 would net a gain of about 10%. Still on the fence about switching to it with my app though. I'm looking forward to running into some new GT500's on the street.

Thanks..........No worries, and you can flash it back to stock in about 2 minutes :)

Even then - EXPECT SVT to come onsite to inspect any 'blown motor' claims.Never ever had an issue with a single Ford warranty. We were tuning 03 Cobras before anyone, and have sold 1000s and 1000s of 03-04 Cobra and then 07-current GT500 tuners, and there has never been a case of a warranty being 'GONE'.
This particular car is going to the dealer on Tuesday for a few cosmetic things, and an oil change. There will be no problems.
FWIW, since we are on the topic, the ZL1 we did a few weeks ago spent a week at the dealership with some odd drivability issues, which was identified eventually as a bunk torque converter. They replaced the converter and car is running great, and at no point did they ever ask him if the PCM had been flashed, as there was no way for them to know.
Thanks

Those are awesome numbers! And 660rwtq would be fun as hell at 3600rpm! I can only imagine this thing would get ever so near to 700rwhp with a GOOD intake and full exhaust setup on E85.

Ford is coming out swinging these days. It's pretty damn cool if you ask me. Not only are they building some bad ass stuff, they're forcing GM to step their game up. A win / win for all.
That kind of power from a tune only is absolutely insane.

It's getting a CAI next week and coming back for a retune, followed shortly by a pulley swap, and another retune.
I fully expect to see north of 700 rwhp when its all said and done, on 93 octane pump gas :)

I plan to be posting up in a week or two to discuss the '700 rwhp canned tune'.
Good times indeed....

You must hate the look of this car to register just to say that
I doubt many people even considered how it looked at 615 rwhp :)
I'd drive this thing if it were brown and shaped like a turd ;)

You must hate the look of this car to register just to say that :devil:You know that's just a troll doing what trolls do. He (or she) is either looking for trouble or just plain stupid.
I doubt many people even considered how it looked at 615 rwhp :)Let alone the power you'll surely get from it in the future. What a car though, to be so crazy on power from the start, it took you boys of the aftermarket less than 1 month to make it better. If and only IF there was such a serious following for new GM performance cars, I only wonder where we'd be looking for a ceiling. Nice tuning, as usual.
I'd drive this thing if it were brown and shaped like a turd ;) Hey, I'd probably drive the Oscar Meyer Wiener mobile, so ....

Ford has really stepped their game up with this one. Hopefully GM can reclaim their spot in the upcoming years.

Sprayed, I posted ZL1 before / after numbers a while back. I'll find them Monday when I get back in town....
GT500 didn't make it yesterday, owner was sick.
It should be on the dyno right now, but I'm at the airport...
Thanks

in it for updates this week. this thing is monstrous. you should do a 1/4 mile run on your dyno to give us an idea. that much torque at 3000 rpm's has to be giving the owner some issues on the 285's. I hope hes planning on a 305 radial at least.

This. Looks like the hot rod game isn't going away anytime soon. I see Dodge coming out with something pretty sick here soon. Chevy failed with the Zr1. Perhaps another attempt in a couple years.

The car is having a lower pulley installed as I type this, and will be back here first thing tomorrow for the big numbers

Perhaps another attempt in a couple years. How did GM fail with the ZR1 exactly? If you are worried that it has less power than this GT500, well, its still a much lighter, and WAY better handling car, and will outrun the GT500 all day....

chevy failed on the zr1?? reeealllllyyy??? the ls9 probably the best motor going right now.. it has made 700 rwhp on the stock blower.. where did they go wrong? the car handles and stops with the best of the best. i really hope you are talking about the zl1, because yea that could have been better with less weight and a lilttle more power from the factory but thats still a good car as well. just not in the hp battle stock.... right now.

Love to see what it will do with long tubes, full exhaust, pulley and a re-tune with E85.
I would bet my left nut that with those mods mentioned above it will gain 100rwhp.

I would bet my left nut that with those mods mentioned above it will gain 100rwhp.It will be up well over 100 rwhp from stock with just the pulley/cai/tune ;)
It was making over 625 ft/lbs at 2500 rpm on Friday, and thats not close to done...E85 would be nuts assuming there is enough fuel system to support it.

I think he meant the ZL1 not ZR1, And about the ZL1 its doing fabolous for it weight!
5th Gens almost as heavy as RCSB Trucks.
