Went to the dragstrip yesterday and it went decent since i didnt blow it up this time.

was running 12.0x all night with 1.8 60'

So i soften the crappy shocks and got a 1.7 60'

Best Run was 11.99 at 113 with a 1.73 60'

DA calculator said 2427ft

98 formula
ported 5.3 Heads milled also
236 242 .600 lift cam
ls6 intake
Stock Throttle Body
k&n FIPK
36lb injectors
Midwest converter ~3100 stall

Suspension:
Spohn
Adjustable LCAS
Adjustable tunnel mount torque arm
Adjustable panhard bar
Adjustable Drag Bar( no idea if i need to adjust or what)
LCA relocation brackets( im in the lowest hole right now)
WORN OUT Comp Eng Shocks

Where can i pick up some more 60' and mph. I feel like i should have more mph.

DA would be the culprit I would guess.

Loosen the converter, I bet that would help a ton.

I was also thinking that, i called midwest today and said they could restall fairly cheap for me. Ill Def keep that in mind. I have to finish up my lsx nova before i put more into my firebird though.

I don't know what the car made for power, but the converter probably needs to be 4800 to 5000 to really run right. I'd look at doing that and then readjust the suspension to get it to work once you the converter right. Probably 4 mph and .5 just between the 2...

Yea it is my street car so im not going to go with that big of a converter, Max im willing to go is 4000.

Not sure what it makes power wise but its just a budget setup so i would be happy with mid to upper 300hp range.

Street driving a 4000+ stall is no big deal. I drove a 5100 that I liked better than my previous 3600.

Really? i do have a high tolerance for poor street manors, so maybe ill get a 4000 Stall and rock it on the street. I get lots a looks driving on slicks and skinnys on the street. haha
