I just moved from Massachusetts to Raleigh, NC.

It would be great to meet a couple other F-Body guys from the area. You may have seen me, I drive a red '00 Trans Am (not Ram Air/WS6) and I'm in the North Raleigh area (I-540), with a Mass rear plate.

It would be awesome if anyone knew of any place that is hiring, as I am unemployed and have been since the day I left the Marine Corps. I have professional experience as a mechanic, and my job in the Marines was "small arms repair technician" which is a basic gunsmith.

I have applied to every gun store google has given a result for in the area, and have also applied to Advance Auto, Auto Zone, and some local garages.

If anyone has any means to help me, please let me know. I have a full resume and copies of my DD-214 Discharge paperwork from the Marine Corps.

PM me please!

Thanks in advance,

-Nick

Cool, man. I'm in Cary, and we got a few guys in Raleigh as well.

Part of a more local club called Capital Area F-Bodies, we meet at a couple of the car shows and on the 4th Saturday of every month at Snoopy's at 4 PM.

Thanks for all the welcomes.

I found a job after being unemployed in MA for 307 days. Took less than 10 days in Raleigh to get a job. I am not surprised by this.

Is it common for people from MA to move to NC? Or from the North in general? NY and NJ tags are a common sight in North Raleigh.

I will jump onto capital f-body and will try to get to the next meet. My wife might wonder where the f*ck I'm going alone in my car, lol.

If you want to buy or build an AR-15 and need a 2nd opinion or someone with a lot of experience, send me a PM. I love guns, and that fact is 1/3 of my reasoning for moving to NC.
