gain swap 317 to 241?
I have a 6.0 in my 2004 Denali. It has 317 heads on it. I am doing a head and Cam swap on my 2002 Camaro LS1 engine. I know the 241's that are coming off the LS1 would give the Denali a small compression bump but would that be all? Do the 241s flow better? Would it even do any good to swap the heads?

No, what you gain in compression would be lost in flow. The 317's have the same ports as the ls6 heads. Also the larger chambers of the 317's provide a little more flow as the valves are less shrouded.
If you want to have the 241's ported, you would gain a decent amount. If that is a route your willing to persue, may as well throw an ls6 cam in there too. That would wake the old suburban up quite a bit.
