Default Help deciding on a cam for my 09 G8GT

The car has stock L92 heads with stock L76 intake, 6.0L engine, 6L80E trans, with stock 2.92 gears. i'll ditch the DOD crap.

I've been looking at a 218/224 112+0 cam

VE at .050
Intake Valve opens - IVO -3
Intake Valve closes - IVC 41
Exhaust Valve Opens - EVO 44
Exhaust Valve Closes - EVC 0
Overlap -3

and 222/228 112+2
Intake Valve opens - IVO 1
Intake Valve closes - IVC 41
Exhaust Valve Opens - EVO 48
Exhaust Valve Closes - EVC 0
Overlap 50 1

The car has the stock stall, and i plan to keep like that as i DD this car for real, 140 miles daily , and traffic here in Los angeles is not a joke. i'm aware of the benefits of having a stall, perhaps in the future she'll see a 2800rpm stall, but for now, the stock would do.

Which cam should i go for ? first one seems attractive because in theory should have lots of torque and still pull decent at top end, but would i be missing some power with it compared to the little bigger 222/228 ? i have no plans to go bigger than this, as both should lay some very decent torque across the powerband, with decent power up top.

Any help is highly appreciated.

eps cam ? i'm more interested in valve events and how my stock L92/L76 combo would be able to to benefit from it. i'll try gen III section and see if i can get little more info on this

214/220 112lsa-2 (-7*OL)....?

216/222 112lsa-1 (-5*OL)....?

For what you are looking for, I would recommend our custom grind 220/228 113LSA+2. It would work great with the factory converter, while still providing a nice long broad powerband for excellent daily driving and optimum performance. Feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.

I'd contact Geoff@eps. He has some very nice ls3 style grinds that are very easy on the valvetrain. Also he can tweak specs of his grinds to fit your vehicle better.

Thanks Jake i'll be giving you a call this week, i've done bussines with you guys before (Jason) when i had my GTO, and he was very informative.
Do you guys have a dyno with that cam on a 6.0l engine with the l92/l76 combo ?
