Raced a sonoma 5.3L shorted yesterday. Rolled up on him in a country road, got beside him, three honks and we were off. I have 6speed so I was able to start in 2nd gear where as his was an auto. Blasted off and had a good race from about 20-100 and I won :) First kill ever.
....and it was my Grandpa's sonoma conversion lol Now he said I'm forced to race his '67 camaro (350 SBC, balanced, 800 cfm Holley, headers and dual exhaust, truck leaf springs, SFC's, and 80 years of street racing behind the wheel). So.... looks like I need some nitrous ASAP.
