Gears & Axles - Yoke too short, or pinion too long?

I have a 10 bolt from an LT1, a set of 3.23's, and a yoke i bought off ebay listed as "82-00".
The yoke sleeve is too short and hits the front of the pinion tube. Also runs out of threads on the pinion with a lot of slack left over.
What's up?
Can i just put a spacer between the bearing and yoke to compensate?

Ok i put spacers between the yoke and bearing. I set my pre-load and lash just fine that way. Then i tried to install the seal and realized the yoke is too fat to fit inside the seal. So ive come to the conclusion that i was sold the incorrect yoke on ebay. Maybe i can find out what seal corresponds with this yoke and install it.

There are two different sized yokes, the 02 at minimum is larger diameter, you might just need the new type seal. Not saying for sure that is your issue, but it was mine.

Sorry I don't, just took the bigger of the two the guy had in his hand. But just get the 02 part, It's definitely the bigger one.
