General LSX Automobile Discussion - RMP Gauge

So i bough a RPM gauge with a shift light and im trying to find out how to wire it so that it can read my Engine RPM. So far i got the ground wire, and the power all i need is the green wire witch reads my RPM. Does anybody know were i need to wire it two and how? or is there a sticky? Thanks

is there a way that i can wire it to were the plug is for the obdII because my wire is not long enough to reach the pcm under the hood.
