WTB 402/408/LS2 Motor I have been putting a lot of thought into what motor I want for my Camaro, but a little birdie whispered in my ear that I might find huge savings in finding a motor that is already built....
I was hoping to put a brand new LS2, 402, iron 408, something, into my 00 SS, when the LS1 finally craps out but it's lookin' like big bucks, the way I had in mind.
Anyone have anything complete, or nearly complete and in good shape?
Was hoping to nail around 500HP N/A.
Not sure what else to say; opinions are also welcome.
I've got a running 175k mile LS1 that runs like a champ right now, but I don't think I'll hit my HP goals with it, in a reasonable amount of money. Not to mention, it's got 175k miles on it....
