I wish the world was like Houston during the weekend of TX2K12, minus the idiots of course. That weekend was the epitome of car culture.

When I had mt truck running we had people from all over Houston trying to race my friend chuck in his camaro and me. I'm talking about solid 10 second street cars trying to race us. Now all of the real fast cars disappeared.

This. As much fun as hanging out with a bunch of guys in a parking lot looking at cars I have seen a million and a half times is. I would rather go out to eat and catch a beer with friends. Plus after a while, not much stuff is all that impressive to look at any more.

That gets old too. Plus most of my friends hang with family on weekends.
