General LSX Automobile Discussion - Weird interior color

Anyone ever seen this interior color before? know anything about it like rarity of it? I like it but have just never seen it.

Yes. That is RPO 73B, Red Accent Cloth. Last year for availability was 1999, and it could only be had on cars with the following exterior colors:

Black
Silver
Pewter ('99)
Red
White

It was a pretty rare option, I've only see a couple myself (on white and black cars). There were 1,495 cars ordered with this for '98 and 643 cars in '99.

Two tone cloth. I like it!! I test drove a '96 Camaro Z28 (before I bought my '96 Formula 16 years ago) that had a cloth red plaid-type interior. It was really different.

Stock F-body leather is junk, so I always try to get the cloth whenever I can. Not to mention how much easier cloth is to deal with in very cold or very hot temps.

Even with my light colored leather seats I always wish I could have had cloth seats when the top is down. When you come back to the car after awhile away, that sun makes the leather HOT and I hear it from my wife :scream:

I have it in my 97, I love it and a lot of people give me compliments on it ! I just wish the previous owners would of taken better care of it :bang:

That is pretty rare if you think about how many ls car were made in 1999.
