Default Mondo, Big red etc differences ?

It's been suggested by some the Mondo I am using may be insufficient

Anyone know the difference in valve diameter between a Mondo, Big red open or closed, the Vortech BV57 etc ?

Is some of the lack of flow simply valve size, or could I cut another opening at the rear to make the Mondo more open ?

cutting a hole costs nothing, and essentially makes it an open bodied valve which is bound to assist air flow.

Default

The Mondo was Vortech's answer to the R-trim-that was way back, mid or early 90's.

The valve on the Big Red is bigger than the Mondo and even bigger on the B57.

The Mondo flows 550cfm@10psi and the B57 flows 1300cfm@10psi.
