There are a few light rock chips on the front end of my black T/A and they are beginning to irritate me since they are so obvious on the gloss black. I was just wondering about certain systems and what the best solutions would be in order to repair the chips and perhaps even prevent them from occurring again.

I think there is a "clear film" that helps protect against chips like this. My car is also black and the front end is so terrible that I actually think the previous owner had some truck do a 10 minute burnout on a gravel road in front of my car. After I get this fixed, I'm going to look more into this film to apply to my front end.

The best way to repair the chips is to use a DA to sand until the chips are smooth being sure to feather the paint and then spot prime, sand, base and re clear.

honestly just take it to a body shop and have them touch them up. yes there is a protective film you can have put on. just ask your body shop about it
