power steering lines
Ihave l92 w/corvette fdea on it.For the pressure line I used part #177 made by Omega brand. It has a port on it for the pressure sensor that was on my monte from factory.the return line is part #963 which is just an elbow/nipple with transmission hoe attached. This is in my 87 monte carlo ss.Ido a ton of business with our local Federated Auto Parts and they let me go through the Omega power steering book and I ordered 10 hoses in that had correct ends as a stock monte ss hose had.I found one that fit and sent the rest back.

I used the original lines that where on my car. On the pressure line I just screwed the fitting out the back of my factory MC PS pump, and insalled it into the LS truck pump. No problems works fine

X2. Take the old fitting (and spring and valve) out of the back of your Monte pump and put it in your truck pump. If you threw away your pressure switch that runs inline with your pressure hose, get a pressure line for a non-A/C car.

Thanks for replies......Looks like the most straightforward option will be to use factory g-body hoses. Problem is I no longer have them.....so I'm off to the pick and pull. Do most mid 80's gm vehicles (caprice, trucks, vans, etc.) use the same style hose?
