say you have a clean slate 02' SS to build, start over with, or what have you. what parts would you use to get the best reliability and streetability out of the car. its a M6 with 112,000 miles in need of some bolts on's! im thinking heads, cam, intake, exhaust, N02, and what ever else would help make a sweet street/strip car. keep it streetable and on a bit of a budget. here is your shot to make you build expereances shine, because i will be considering what you have to say in my build for sure! thanks!

What you want really matters here. There are so many things you can do. Personally I am currently building my 98 Z28 4AOD.
FTP 98mm lid
PRC LS6 Stage 2.5 heads
228 .588/.588 114LSA
LS6 Intake w/ Ported t/B
SLP Loudmouth Cat back 4" dual/'single
TSP 1 7/8 LT headers
TSP catted y-pipe
Moser 12 bolt 3.73 gears
383 stroker kit
Bilstein stage 2 shocks/struts
BMR lowering springs
UMI 3 point sub frame connectors
BMR strut tower brace
BMR F/R 32/21mm sway bars
Hyper flex complete bushing set
4AOD to T-56 conversion
LS7 clutch kit
GM slave cylinder w/ throwout bearing
GM master cylinder
5.0 shifter
17" Black ZR1s 17X9.5F 17X11R
Nitto NT 555 275/40/17F 315/35/17R
I know for a fact you will have to build or swap your rear end the T-56s tear apart the stock 10 bolt. I don't why its only the T-56 but its problem.

Intake & Exhaust suited to match your future power goals.
Suspension to actually put down power you are/will be making.
Research & Choose your power adder.

Depending on budget I'd go procharger, monster stage 3 clutch, 9 inch, exhaust and be done with it. Power whenever you want and great drivability.

im thinking im set on a set of PRC 5.3 2.5's (unless you guys think the LS6 2.5's are a better pic), 228r/toquer V2/MS3 cam (not sure which), TSP 1 7/8 headers and y pipe, fast intake/throttle body, and nitorus. i want a set of race star wheels powercoated gloss black, so if anyone has a set they want to let go let me know.

I would have spend a little more and went with a D1SC.

The problem with this kind of thread is everyone's definitions of "reliable" and "streetable" are wildly different. Some people think a 408 with a cam the size of the Washington Monument is as streetable as can be... others think anything more than a 224 cam and you're pushing it.
