Generation IV External Engine - I assume I shouldn't use this balancer.. (pics)

Picked up a complete corvette accessory drive. Pretty much all great except there's a little bulge in the balancer rubber ring. Don't want to spend more money, but will if this is unacceptable.

I'd run it. It's probably been that way since new. Put your finger down there every so often to feel if it's gotten bigger.

You'd likely be just fine to run it but why not go ahead and use this as a chance to upgrade to an SFI underdriven piece?
