-Aluminum block
-Aluminum 243 heads (same casting as LS6/LS2 heads)
-Slightly larger cam/valves/higher compression than a regular 5.3
-71k miles
-Pulled from '06 GM truck
-Pulled the valve covers and this motor is SUPER clean. No staining, no odd smells, and it wasn't terribly dirty before I cleaned it up.
-Comes with exhaust manifolds, intake manifold, injectors, rails, coils, wires, and the engine. No starter, wiring harness, flexplate/flywheel, tb, whatever else you may notice missing in pics.
Don't let the 5.3 fool you. This motor will make great power, about comparible to an LS1, and weighs the same as a LS1.
When I got it:

I paid $950 a year and a half ago from LKQ. Spent hours cleaning the engine. Painted the valve covers black cherry pearl. Added prothane swap mounts with aluminum mount plates. Threw on a new oil cap as well. Just looking to get out of the engine, and willing to lose on the mount kit... Price is $950. Not interested in shipping. It's at my storage unit and I have no way to move it and work 8-6 m-f.
