Default Rod bearing?

Went to the track the other day to Hopfully get the 10.5 that has been alluding me. Well I couldn't get the car to trap any better than 126 which was slower than my old motor so went home disappointed. Anyway I get home (car was trailered) and decided to check the codes (no service light was on) and it came up as a malfunctioning knock sensor. Cleared the code and went to bed. Next morning I went out to wash the car and it has a very audible tick/knock more on the ticking noise but it sounds bottom end. When I was at the track I did do the old 3-2 shift on a pass but there was no noise after that and I had done a few more passes after it. What would cause the noise to appear the next day? Any help would be great. Also pulled the filter and cut it open and it had a couple of small pieces of metallic could this be the start of a bad bearing?

I'm not positive but it doesn't sound like valvetrain to me. I'll try to post up a video.
