Generation IV External Engine - Switching from a FAST 102mm intake to a Holley Hi Ram for NA set up???

What are peoples thoughts on swithing from a FAST 102MM intake set up to the new Holley Hi Ram intake, well staying naturally aspirated and/or nitrous plate???
Would there be any gains on a similar engine combo below???
418 ci LS3 stroker
CNC LS3/L92 ported heads bigger valves
cam in the area of 230's or 240's duration, lift over .600, 112-114 lobe
say the motor makes 650 flywheel power...
Put together some info off a couple different builds I seen on here, so don't hold me to these numbers.

Small gains for a lot of work and major surgery on the cowl. Maybe for a soild roller turning 8k it would be ok. IMOP a 418 will not see much of a gain.
Then again. Who has done this swap.

Me too. I'll be stepping up to the 102 soon. I have a Mamo ported one sitting in my shop. I was hopping that it would install it self. LOL Not looking forward to fighting the fuel rail hold downs and injector height etc.
The Holly intake is bad azz. I think you lose the wipers with it installed, and hood clearence. Thats what killed me on the idea. I'm thinking a guy with a Chevelle was thinking of going with the Holly. He is on this site.

Yeah I PM stangklr and he said there is no way to fit the intake and keep that passanger wiper. Bummer!!!
I had no problems with my 102/102 LS3 combo. 60# LS3 style injectors and I order a set of LS3 hi-flow rails from Speed inc. Bolted perfect!!! Good luck!!!

Ok cool. What hold downs did you use for the rails? I have custom rails and brackets already so they might work. I have the Fast injectors 57lbs

i'd wait.... im on my 3rd L92 holley with manufacturing flaws getting with holley as we speak to get this one replaced too

I posted a similar question re; pro flow setup, does it sit that high? Never saw one in person.maybe I'll just get the FAST LSXR 102.

they all flow great. its a matter of do you want to cut up the car and go through the hassle of making it fit to see minimal gains vs the fast 102. none of the mentioned intakes are a major restriction by any means. people making 4 digits with them.

Never mind I found this pic on trail BLAZER SS Forum. But it begs the question does the Eldebrock pro flow fit w/o cutting the cowl?
